In early March 2017 Natural Resources Wales plan to carry out some drainage work improvements at the floodbank that carries NCN 568 at Hawarden Bridge along the River Dee – the section near the John Summers building. They will not be closing off the path, but the path will be at a very reduced width.
The works are planned from March 6th for 2 weeks. Cyclists need to be aware of these works and to use extra care when cycling through this section. Cyclists are urged to show consideration to other users of the route, as this area may be something of a ‘pinch point’ for the duration of the project.
