CTC List of Cycle Friendly Cafes

  1. A new tea, coffee and cake stop in the making!

Local cyclists and all users of National Cycle Route 45 may be interested to know about improvements to an existing favourite stop.

The proprietor of Cholmondley Castle farm shop is developing the shop’s interior and exterior garden layout. The plan is for the shop to have a whole new interior dining area in place of the existing Post Office counter and display stands.

Externally, tables and seating will allow visitors to take full advantage of the front lawn area – particularly welcome as the spring approaches!

The shop is already well stocked with all manner of goodies but the provision of freshly made coffee and tea – not to mention cake and who knows what other delights – can only be a real advantage to us cyclists.

Work is expected to begin within the next few weeks.

Should you need help to locate the shop, it’s postcode is SY14 8AQ.
